Let's Dye & Paint Fabric

What you are looking at is my work in progress. I have been working on my fabrics and looked around at my work space and decided enough was enough. I asked Mike to help me with my fabrics. You know dyeing a little and painting a lot. After washing, soaking, rinsing, washing, hanging up fabric to dry, ironing, ironing and more ironing he saw the light. He decided it was time to make a studio. What did he say? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! What you are looking at is the start of my new studio. We have been adquiring many storage units and wood to make a huge table in the center of the room. It will measure 12'x12' and I'll be able to run around in circles from end to end never having to move another piece of fabric till it is dry..........gasp!!!!!!!!!!! We have purchased a double porcelin sink, cabinets for top and bottom and washer and dryer. Going to pipe in some music and I'll dance till dawn. It's always interesting to go through a journey like this. With patience and a desire to do what is needed, you can do anything. I'll be posting the progress of my studio, crossing my fingers it should be ready in about a month. Thanks for stopping by :) Cheryl

This is the sewing corner :)

With rulers on the wall I'm ready for any design that comes into my head......day or night/night or day. Have ruler will travel!!

Walls were made for designing. I'm getting ready to put another up in my studio that will be large enough for any size of quilt. They are so wonderful to have in my life. I was just thinking.......what if I put a wall in every room. If I did that then if one of those suddent magnificant brain storms came when I was walking from my kitchen to the laundry room I could stop and draw a design........ Ok, let me get back into reality LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
